Returning with more stories and her utterly memeable art, Allie Brosh has a unique skill to Normalize and make entertaining mental illness, depression, and every day banality. Her anecdotes are filled with whimsy and relatability. At times I laughed. At times I cried. At times, my heart broke for the pain that the author has suffered. While at others I smiled and said hey that’s me.
I think my favorite anecdotes were the ones related to her pets or the pets that she’s known. But this is a lovely book and it’s one that you’re going to want to own a copy of for yourself so that you can open up and reread your favorite parts over and over again.
Five stars.
